Bloom is a mixed-income multifamily residential development currently under construction in Fort Myers, Florida, designed to address the region’s growing need for affordable and workforce housing. Located on a 5.7-acre site at 2010 Hanson Street, the project will deliver 336 apartment units within a thoughtfully planned residential community. More than half of the units are reserved for households earning up to 80 percent of the area median income, with the remaining units serving workforce households earning up to 120 percent of AMI, supporting a diverse range of residents within a single development.

The project includes a comprehensive suite of amenities intended to enhance quality of life, including a resort-style pool, fitness center, business center, game room, dog park, and structured parking with more than 500 spaces. Site planning and building design emphasize efficiency, accessibility, and long-term durability, while integrating residential uses with shared community spaces that encourage connection and livability.

After several years of planning and coordination, the project moved forward as a “shovel-ready” development positioned to respond to post-hurricane housing shortages and rising demand.
