Project Titan β Element 2 advances Pensacola International Airportβs long-term strategy to expand maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations within the airportβs northwest quadrant. As part of a planned four-hangar MRO campus, the project is intended to strengthen regional aviation capacity, support economic development, and create meaningful workforce opportunities while increasing aircraft activity and operational resilience.
The project includes the construction of two new MRO hangars totaling more than 200,000 square feet, supported by comprehensive airside and landside infrastructure. Improvements include aircraft aprons for maintenance, overflow, and overnight parking; a new aircraft taxilane connecting the development to the active airfield; roadway and parking enhancements; an aircraft wash-rack apron; stormwater management systems; utilities; and perimeter security upgrades designed to support both current operations and future growth.
Design criteria and program management services are being provided for this design-build project, supporting planning, procurement, and delivery from early coordination through construction. Responsibilities include schedule and budget development, site and utility documentation, coordination with the City of Pensacola and the MRO tenant, preparation of the design-criteria package, and oversight during design and construction to ensure quality, constructability, and regulatory compliance.
